What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, IHG has the right to periodically change the Brand System by adding, modifying, altering and/or deleting elements of the Brand System. The Standards and all changes to the Standards may be presented in any format, including but not limited to print, electronic or other media.

This means that Even Hotels can make changes to its brand standards at any time, and these changes can be communicated in various formats. It is the franchisee's responsibility to stay informed of these changes and ensure their hotel complies with the latest standards.

The FDD does not specify a minimum notice period for changes to the brand standards. For a prospective franchisee, this means that changes could be implemented with little to no advance warning. It would be prudent for a prospective franchisee to discuss this with Even Hotels to understand how frequently standards change and how much advance notice is typically given.
