What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, for a conversion hotel, authorization to open is contingent upon completing all Property Improvement Plan (PIP) requirements. This includes submitting plans before starting construction, adhering to the dates specified in both the License Agreement and Attachment "B" of the License.

Prior to beginning detailed construction and design plans, the franchisee's design and construction team must attend a Design Immersion Session for training on brand hallmarks, design philosophy, and the PIP/Plan Review process. Franchisees are responsible for covering travel, lodging, and miscellaneous expenses for these mandatory programs. Before any construction or design commences, franchisees must meet with their Openings Regional Director and submit preliminary plans to Holiday for comment and approval.

These requirements ensure that the conversion aligns with Even Hotels' brand standards and operational guidelines. Failing to meet these requirements can delay the hotel opening and potentially incur additional costs for re-evaluations and re-inspections.
