What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Enterprise Contribution' is calculated from reservations processed through specific Holiday-managed channels and sources. These include IHG.com and its international versions, along with Holiday's mobile apps, which are categorized as 'Web'. Additionally, the calculation incorporates reservations made through Holiday's worldwide toll-free phone numbers and hotel call-divert programs, referred to as 'Voice'.
Furthermore, the 'Enterprise Contribution' includes reservations from global distribution systems ('GDS') used by traditional travel agencies and third-party online travel websites. It also accounts for online travel agencies ('OTA') like Expedia, with which Holiday has distribution agreements. Direct bookings made at a hotel through the Global Sales Office ('GSO') and by IHG One Rewards members ('Loyalty Direct') are also factored in. Finally, the calculation includes distribution partners directly connected to Holiday's Reservation System but not covered in the previously mentioned sources, labeled as 'Direct Connect'.
For a prospective Even Hotels franchisee, understanding these channels is crucial as the 'Enterprise Contribution' reflects the effectiveness of Holiday's reservation systems in driving business to the hotel. The FDD indicates that for Mature Hotels, the Average Enterprise Contribution was 85.1% in 2024. Knowing the specific sources that contribute to this percentage allows franchisees to assess the value of the brand's reservation infrastructure and its potential impact on their hotel's revenue.
