What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, 'Bottler Bottle/Can Beverages' include specific brands when purchased directly from a bottler. These include Monster, NOS, and Full Throttle. Additionally, any bottle/can beverages purchased directly from a bottler that has the rights to distribute beverages marketed under trademarks owned, licensed, controlled, or distributed by Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. (DPSG) or its subsidiaries, affiliates, or bottlers, or any entity or joint venture in which DPSG or its affiliates have at least a 50% ownership interest, are also included.

For a prospective Even Hotels franchisee, this definition is important because it dictates which beverages qualify for certain incentives or programs offered by the Company (Coca-Cola) or Bottler. Purchasing these specific brands directly from authorized bottlers ensures that the franchisee can take advantage of any available owner incentive funding. This funding is not applicable if the beverages are purchased from other sellers, distributors, or retailers.

The FDD also specifies that the Company or Bottler may increase price ceilings for these beverages under certain conditions, such as a substantial increase in the cost of goods, manufacture, or delivery. The Company will provide a 30-day notice before any such price increases take effect. Therefore, franchisees need to stay informed about potential price changes to manage their costs effectively.

Furthermore, Even Hotels franchisees are required to make available a core brand set of Bottler Bottle/Can Beverages, including Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Coke Zero, subject to availability from the bottler. The remaining selections are subject to the Company's approval. Understanding these requirements and the brands included in the 'Bottler Bottle/Can Beverages' definition is crucial for compliance and maximizing potential benefits under the agreement.
