What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally prohibited from serving PepsiCo products. The FDD specifies that Even Hotels are required to participate in the IHG | Coca-Cola® Beverage Program and must sign a Participation Agreement with The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC).
Under this program, Even Hotels must offer guests a core set of Coca-Cola products, including Coca-Cola®, Diet Coke®, Sprite®, and Coke Zero Sugar™. This requirement extends to both bottled/canned beverages and fountain drinks. Furthermore, all non-alcoholic beverages, including waters and juices, must be TCCC beverages. The only exception to this rule is if a client requires non-TCCC beverages as a condition of booking a meeting or event, and even then, certain restrictions apply as outlined in the Participation Agreement.
This restriction ensures brand consistency across all Even Hotels locations and allows TCCC to provide funding based on the volume of their products sold. This funding is managed by a team from TCCC and SCH (presumably IHG Shared Services), and is used to create value for TCCC and the Even Hotels brand. Franchisees should be aware that they are required to participate in promotional programs and marketing activities as directed by SCH as part of the Coca-Cola Beverage Program. Franchisees should carefully review the Participation Agreement and any additional requirements in the Standards or the Participation Agreement to fully understand their obligations.
