What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Epcon Communities Franchise Disclosure Document, the transferee franchisee is responsible for the expenses associated with completing the initial training sessions. Specifically, the transferee must cover these costs to fulfill the requirements for the franchise transfer.
This means that if you are buying an existing Epcon Communities franchise from a previous franchisee, you, as the new franchisee, will need to budget for and pay for the initial training. This includes expenses like travel, lodging, meals, and any other incidental costs related to attending the training sessions.
Epcon Communities requires the transferee franchisee to complete these training sessions to ensure they are properly equipped to operate the franchise according to the brand's standards. This requirement helps maintain consistency and quality across all franchise locations. Failing to cover these expenses and complete the training could potentially jeopardize the transfer process.
It is important for prospective franchisees to factor in these training costs when considering the financial implications of purchasing a transferred Epcon Communities franchise. Understanding these obligations upfront can help ensure a smooth transition and prevent unexpected expenses.
