Where can Epcon Communities provide consulting services to the franchisee?

- 4.1.6.2 Consulting services will be provided to Franchisee either, at Franchisor's discretion, at the corporate offices of Franchisor, by telephone, virtual meeting, or at Franchisee's place(s) of business.
If held at Franchisee's place(s) of business, Franchisee is responsible for all travel, lodging, meal and incidental expenses of any consultant of Franchisor providing such consulting services to Franchisee.
Franchisor reserves the right to charge Franchisee a reasonable fee for some or all consulting services provided by Franchisor.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Epcon Communities' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, consulting services will be provided to the franchisee at the franchisor's corporate offices, by telephone, via virtual meeting, or at the franchisee's place of business, at Epcon Communities' discretion. These consulting services may include recommendations in areas such as planning, financing, construction, and marketing.
If the consulting services are provided at the franchisee's place of business, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, lodging, meal, and incidental expenses incurred by any consultant from Epcon Communities. Epcon Communities also retains the right to charge the franchisee a reasonable fee for some or all of the consulting services they provide.
It is important to note that the initial and additional training sessions, whether mandatory or optional, as detailed in other sections of the FDD, are included when calculating the total hours of consulting services provided. Epcon Communities' calculation of the hours of consulting services provided is considered final and conclusive. Franchisees should be aware of these conditions regarding consulting services and factor potential costs into their business planning.
