- h) post, promote or transmit through the Epcon Communities Intranet any unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind or nature, including, without limitation, any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, or give rise to civil liability;

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Epcon Communities' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, posting unlawful or harassing material on the Epcon Communities Intranet is not permitted. The FDD explicitly prohibits posting, promoting, or transmitting any unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable material through the Intranet. This includes any transmissions that could constitute a criminal offense or give rise to civil liability.
Epcon Communities Intranet users are expected to exercise reasonable judgment and discretion when using the Intranet, especially when uploading text or communicating with others. While Epcon Communities will not review or edit information beforehand, users are encouraged to report any suspected illegal or improper uses of the Intranet. Epcon Communities does not endorse user content and is not liable for objectionable content transmitted via the Intranet.
Epcon Communities reserves the right to investigate and take action against any actual or possible illegal or improper uses of the Intranet. This includes deleting information and revoking a user's authorization to use the Intranet. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the agreement may result in immediate termination of access to the Epcon Communities Intranet. These measures are in place to ensure the Intranet is used for legitimate purposes and to protect the company's reputation.
