Does Epcon Communities intend to sell franchises to other franchisees to use the Development System?

According to the 2025 Epcon Communities Franchise Disclosure Document, Epcon Communities does intend to sell franchises to other franchisees so they can use the Development System. This means that as a franchisee, you may encounter other Epcon Communities franchisees operating in different market areas.

However, Epcon Communities, along with its affiliates such as Epcon Carolinas, Epcon Indiana, Epcon Tennessee, and Epcon Georgia, are not restricted from soliciting customers, regardless of the customers' locations. This could create competition among franchisees and with Epcon Communities's own affiliated entities. Franchisees will not receive compensation from sales made by Epcon Communities or other franchisees, even if those customers are located within the franchisee's market area.

Epcon Communities also has the right to establish other franchise systems utilizing the service marks which are a part of the Development System or other marks. While they have not established any other franchise systems and have no current plans to do so, this remains a possibility. Prospective franchisees should be aware that Epcon Communities retains the right to expand its franchising activities, potentially impacting market dynamics in the future.
