What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Epcon Communities' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, access to the Epcon Communities Intranet begins with the issuance of access codes. These codes are provided only after the franchisee has executed and delivered the Franchise Agreement, and Epcon Communities has accepted it. Therefore, a fully executed agreement is required before access is granted.

This access is considered a privilege extended by Epcon Communities and is subject to termination either by the franchisee or by Epcon Communities. The franchisee's access rights will immediately terminate, without notice, if they fail to maintain authorized franchisee status. Epcon Communities also retains the right to terminate the agreement and access to the website and databases at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason.

Upon termination of the agreement or the access rights, the franchisee must immediately cease accessing the Epcon Communities Intranet, including the website and databases. Certain sections of the agreement, specifically sections 6 through 18, will survive the termination of the agreement, indicating ongoing obligations even after access is terminated.

Prospective franchisees should be aware that while the Intranet provides valuable resources and communication channels, access is contingent upon maintaining good standing as a franchisee and adhering to the terms of the agreement. The franchisor can revoke access at any time, which could impact the franchisee's ability to utilize the Intranet's resources for their business operations.
