Is an Epcon Communities franchisee allowed to own or operate a separate website for the promotion of their Project or business?

According to the 2025 Epcon Communities Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not permitted to own or operate a separate website to promote their project or their Epcon Communities business. Epcon Communities retains the sole right to create and maintain a website using its trademarks and related domain names.

Epcon Communities will provide a webpage on its website for each franchisee's project once the franchisee identifies a project and requests its inclusion on the website. The franchisor has sole discretion over the content, text, size, address, and appearance of the franchisee's webpage. The franchisee must provide the information specified by Epcon Communities before starting any marketing or sales activities for their projects so that the webpage can be created. The franchisee must also designate a website administrator to provide content updates for their webpage.

This policy ensures brand consistency and centralized control over online marketing efforts. While franchisees cannot operate independent websites, they can leverage the franchisor's website to promote their projects. Franchisees are also required to disclose to Epcon Communities any websites they own, register, or operate that are related to residential construction or real estate sales.
