You acknowledge and agree that Epcon Communities does not endorse any user content created or transmitted via the Epcon Communities Intranet and Epcon Communities is not responsible or liable for any unlawful, harassing, libelous, privacy invading, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, tortious, or otherwise objectionable content, or content that infringes or may infringe the intellectual property or other rights of another.

The Epcon Communities Intranet is designed to facilitate open communication among the Epcon Communities Intranet Users and from the Epcon Communities Intranet Users to Epcon Communities.
To this end, all information that you upload or contribute to the Epcon Communities Intranet bulletin board or similar service or communicate to Epcon Communities through the Epcon Communities Intranet is deemed non-confidential and non-proprietary as to you.
The Epcon Communities Intranet Users who wish to communicate their own confidential information must use a different method of communication.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Epcon Communities Franchise Disclosure Document, Epcon Communities does not endorse user content created or transmitted via their intranet. The FDD states that Epcon Communities is not responsible or liable for any content that is unlawful, harassing, libelous, privacy invading, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, tortious, or otherwise objectionable, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
Epcon Communities will also not review or edit any information that a user chooses to contribute to the Epcon Communities Intranet beforehand. However, the FDD also states that the continued viability of the Intranet depends on its use for legitimate purposes.
Epcon Communities Intranet users are expected to exercise reasonable judgment and discretion when using the Intranet, especially when uploading text or communicating with others. Users are also requested to report any suspected illegal or improper uses of the Intranet to Epcon Communities, such as the distribution of misappropriated software code or the dissemination of other inappropriate information. This means that while Epcon Communities does not actively monitor or endorse user-generated content, they do expect users to adhere to certain standards and will take action against misuse.
