What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Engineering For Kids franchisees must pay a monthly technology fee. As of the agreement date, this fee is $200 per month. Engineering For Kids retains the right to increase this fee, but increases are capped at $25 per month during any 12-month period.

Engineering For Kids has the discretion to determine how the technology fee is used, including paying for services from third-party providers or developing and licensing software and other technologies.

The FDD does not specify the total amount of technology fees collected by Engineering For Kids in 2023 from all franchisees. A prospective franchisee should inquire directly with the franchisor regarding the total technology fees collected and how those fees are utilized to benefit the franchise system.
