What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Engineering For Kids's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, currently, franchisees are not required to contribute to any Regional Funds. However, Engineering For Kids retains the right to establish these funds in the future for specific geographic areas to conduct regional marketing campaigns.

If a Regional Fund is established for the area where an Engineering For Kids franchise is located at the time the franchise begins operations, the franchisee must immediately become a member. If a Regional Fund is created during the term of the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee must join within 30 days of its commencement. Franchisees will not be required to be members of more than one Regional Fund.

If Regional Funds are established, franchisees must submit their Regional Contribution via electronic funds transfer on the same schedule as their Royalty Fees, along with any required reports. Engineering For Kids may require that these contributions and reports be submitted to them for distribution to the Regional Fund. Unless otherwise specified in writing, Engineering For Kids will administer the Regional Fund in the same manner as the Brand Fund.
