You agree to conduct all advertising in a dignified manner and to conform to the standards and requirements we periodically specify in the Manual or in other written materials. All local marketing, advertising, and promotion must be in the media, and of the type and format, as we may approve. "Online Sites" (as defined below) are considered as "advertising" under the Franchise Agreement, and are subject (among other things) to our review and prior written approval before they may be used (as described above). However, Engineering For Kids retains the final decision on all creative development of advertising and promotional messages. Franchisees must submit all proposed plans, promotion materials, and advertising that Engineering For Kids did not prepare or approve in the previous year for approval before use. If written approval is not received within 10 business days from the date Engineering For Kids receives the material, the material is considered disapproved. Engineering For Kids reserves the right to require franchisees to discontinue the use of any advertising or marketing materials.
Online advertising is also subject to review and prior written approval. Franchisees must submit a sample of the proposed online site, including its domain name, format, visible content, and non-visible content, for approval. Franchisees must not use or modify an online site without prior written approval and must comply with the standards and specifications for online sites that Engineering For Kids may periodically prescribe in the Manuals or otherwise in writing. Engineering For Kids may also require franchisees to establish hyperlinks to their online site and other online sites and may require franchisees to make Engineering For Kids the sole administrator of any social networking pages.
