What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Engineering For Kids Franchise Disclosure Document excerpts, there is no mention of specific requirements for internet access mode or speed. However, Engineering For Kids does require franchisees to utilize a computer system and may specify the data and other information that franchisees must collect and maintain on this system.
Engineering For Kids retains the right to request reports from the data collected and maintained by the franchisee. Franchisees must also download or provide access to information and materials related to the operation of the franchised business at intervals required by Engineering For Kids. This information must be presented in a manner prescribed by Engineering For Kids.
Given the reliance on data collection, reporting, and potential virtual program delivery, it is likely that adequate internet access is necessary for Engineering For Kids franchisees. A prospective franchisee should clarify the required internet speed and mode with the franchisor to ensure their chosen location and service provider can meet the operational needs of the franchise.
