What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Engineering For Kids Franchise Disclosure Document, Engineering For Kids has the right to revoke approval of any program, curriculum, and materials. If Engineering For Kids revokes approval, the franchisee must discontinue offering or using the disapproved programs and materials. Engineering For Kids will maintain a list or directory of approved programs in the manual or other written instructions provided to franchisees.

If a franchisee wants to offer programs or use curriculum not already approved, they must submit a written request for approval, following the procedures in the manual. Engineering For Kids has the right to grant, deny, or revoke approval of proposed programs, curriculum, and materials based solely on their judgment. They will notify the franchisee in writing of their decision. Approval may be granted on a limited or test basis, and the franchisee must cooperate with Engineering For Kids during such test programs and submit all curriculum and/or materials at the conclusion of the test program.

Engineering For Kids also has the right to (c) discontinue and disapprove any or all Virtual Programs in the future. Unless otherwise specified, the terms and conditions of this Agreement regarding "Programs," will apply to "Virtual Programs."

This policy gives Engineering For Kids significant control over the educational content and services offered by franchisees, ensuring consistency and quality across the brand. However, it also means franchisees must adhere strictly to approved programs and materials and seek approval for any deviations, which could limit their autonomy and flexibility in responding to local market demands.
