What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Engineering For Kids FDD, the brand will provide information regarding specifications or designated suppliers for particular services, products, supplies, materials, and equipment used in the franchise operation or for resale through the franchise via the Manual.

Engineering For Kids may establish specifications or designate suppliers for particular services, products, supplies, materials, and equipment. This means franchisees may be required to purchase certain items from specific vendors who meet the brand's standards. This ensures consistency and quality across all franchise locations.

The FDD also mentions that Engineering For Kids suggests using Amilia's software program for customer registration and merchant services but has not designated required vendors for computer hardware and software, allowing franchisees to purchase these items from any supplier as long as the equipment meets the brand's specifications. However, Engineering For Kids reserves the right to change software requirements and can require franchisees to upgrade hardware or software during the franchise term. This could mean unexpected costs for franchisees if they need to switch to a new system or upgrade equipment.
