What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Engineering For Kids' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the cost for an on-site location review ranges from $0 to $500. This fee is a lump sum payment, due when incurred, and is paid directly to Engineering For Kids.
Engineering For Kids is not required to conduct an on-site evaluation of the proposed location for an EFK Center, but they may do so if they deem it advisable. If Engineering For Kids decides to conduct an on-site evaluation, they have the right to charge for that evaluation. The charge will be for their actual costs, but not less than $500.
This on-site location review fee is non-refundable once paid. Prospective franchisees should clarify with Engineering For Kids the circumstances under which an on-site evaluation is deemed necessary and what factors might influence the final cost within the stated range.
