What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Engineering For Kids Franchise Disclosure Document, before opening for business, a franchisee must ensure that they and their personnel have all the required state and local government certifications, permits, and licenses necessary for operating an Engineering For Kids Business. This includes any required licenses and certifications for their personnel. This requirement is part of the pre-opening obligations that must be satisfied before commencing operations.

This means that Engineering For Kids franchisees need to investigate and comply with all local and state regulations regarding necessary certifications and licenses for instructors or other personnel involved in running the business. The responsibility for obtaining these certifications and licenses lies solely with the franchisee.

Failure to secure the required certifications, permits, and licenses can delay the opening of the Engineering For Kids franchise and may lead to the termination of the Franchise Agreement if the franchisee does not meet the opening deadline. Therefore, prospective franchisees should prioritize understanding and fulfilling these regulatory requirements to ensure a smooth launch of their Engineering For Kids business.
