What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Engineering For Kids' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while an on-site evaluation is not required, Engineering For Kids may choose to conduct one for your proposed EFK Center Location. If Engineering For Kids does perform an on-site evaluation, they have the right to charge you for it.

The charge will be for Engineering For Kids' actual costs, but it will not be less than $500. This amount is payable upon invoicing and is non-refundable. This potential cost is also listed in the table outlining the estimated initial investment, showing the on-site location review could range from $0 to $500.

Prospective franchisees should consider this potential expense when planning their initial investment. It is important to note that the on-site evaluation is not mandatory, so the charge is only applicable if Engineering For Kids deems it necessary to conduct the evaluation. Franchisees should clarify with Engineering For Kids the circumstances under which an on-site evaluation is typically conducted to better anticipate this potential cost.
