What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Engineering For Kids's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee is authorized to test programs and curriculum in their franchised business, they must cooperate with Engineering For Kids in conducting the test programs and comply with the procedures established in the manual. At the conclusion of the test program, the franchisee is required to submit all curriculum and/or materials to Engineering For Kids for review.

This requirement allows Engineering For Kids to maintain quality control and consistency across all franchise locations. By reviewing the curriculum and materials used during the test program, Engineering For Kids can ensure that the program aligns with their brand standards and educational objectives. This also allows Engineering For Kids to incorporate successful elements from the test program into the standard curriculum, benefiting the entire franchise system.

For a prospective Engineering For Kids franchisee, this means being prepared to meticulously document and share all aspects of any test programs conducted. This includes not only the final curriculum but also any supporting materials, feedback, and data collected during the testing phase. Franchisees should view this as an opportunity to collaborate with the franchisor and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Engineering For Kids program offerings.
