What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Engineering For Kids' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Regional Fund is organized exclusively to administer regional marketing programs and develop standardized marketing materials for use by its members in regional marketing. These marketing programs and materials are subject to the franchisor's approval.

If a Regional Fund exists for the franchisee's area when they begin operations, they must immediately join. If a fund is created during the term of their Franchise Agreement, they have 30 days to become a member. Franchisees will not be required to be a member of more than one Regional Fund.

Engineering For Kids requires franchisees to submit their Regional Contribution to the Regional Fund via electronic funds transfer, following the same schedule as their Royalty Fees. Franchisees must also submit any reports that Engineering For Kids or the Regional Fund requires. Engineering For Kids may require that these contributions and reports be submitted to them for distribution to the Regional Fund. Unless otherwise specified in writing, Engineering For Kids will administer the Regional Fund in the same manner as the System Fund.
