- 9.3.3. We will deposit all contributions to the Brand Fund in an account separate from our other funds and will not use them to defray any of our general operating expenses, except for reasonable administrative costs and overhead we incur in activities reasonably related to the administration of the Brand Fund or the management of Brand Fund-supported programs (including full or partial salaries of our personnel who devote full- or part-time services to Brand Fund activities).

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Engineering For Kids' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all contributions to the Brand Fund will be deposited in an account separate from the company's other funds. This means that the money collected for advertising, marketing, and promotion is kept distinct from Engineering For Kids' general operating funds.
Engineering For Kids will not use Brand Fund contributions to cover its general operating expenses. However, the company can use the funds to cover reasonable administrative costs and overhead related to managing the Brand Fund and its supported programs. This includes salaries for personnel who work on Brand Fund activities.
This arrangement provides a degree of transparency and ensures that franchisee contributions are primarily used for their intended purpose: to promote the Engineering For Kids brand and support the franchise system.
