What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Engineering For Kids's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, when evaluating a potential site, Engineering For Kids will consider the demographic data provided by the franchisee, along with other information about the location and area. This includes the square footage of the dedicated space, signage and visibility, accessibility, the condition of the building, and the availability of parking.

Before committing to a location, the franchisee must notify Engineering For Kids of the proposed site and submit a site review report that includes photographs, demographic information, and any other information that Engineering For Kids may require. Engineering For Kids will then either approve or reject the proposed site within 30 days of receiving the information. If the site is disapproved, the franchisee can submit another proposal.

It's important to note that the franchisee is responsible for finding a suitable site and obtaining the right to use it at their own expense. Engineering For Kids provides minimum standards for EFK Center Locations but has no obligation to assist in selecting or securing a site, nor do they lease premises for centers. Failure to secure an approved site within the specified search period could result in default under the Franchise Agreement and potential termination.
