What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Engineering For Kids's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Engineering For Kids does not currently have any purchasing or distribution cooperatives. However, Engineering For Kids may negotiate purchase agreements with suppliers, including price terms, for the benefit of the franchise system. This means that while franchisees are not currently part of a formal cooperative for purchasing, Engineering For Kids may still leverage its network size to secure better deals on supplies and materials.

Engineering For Kids can establish arrangements with manufacturers of Proprietary Materials, Authorized Products, supplies and materials as well as equipment to make those Products available to Engineering For Kids Businesses at favorable prices and other terms. If so, Engineering For Kids will use its best efforts to maintain purchasing arrangements for Products throughout the term of this Agreement, although it does not represent or guarantee that Products will be available on any specific terms.

It is beneficial for all Engineering For Kids Businesses to combine their purchasing power. Accordingly, if Engineering For Kids establishes these types of arrangements, franchisees must purchase all of their requirements of Products from the suppliers with whom Engineering For Kids has established purchasing programs for Engineering For Kids Businesses. Franchisees agree to purchase Products solely for the operation of their Franchised Business and conducting Programs and not for use in any other business or resale or redistribution to any other party. This implies that Engineering For Kids may implement mandatory purchasing arrangements in the future to ensure consistent quality and pricing across the franchise system.
