Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We have the right to amend and supplement the Manual from time to time by letter, electronic mail, bulletin, videotape, audio tapes, software, or other forms of communication. You must consult with the most current version of the Manual (and if we provide you with a hard copy, you must keep your copy of the Manual up-to-date), and comply with each new or changed standard promptly upon receipt of notice from us. If a dispute develops relating to the contents of the Manual, the version of the Manual that we maintain will control.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Engineering For Kids's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the brand has the right to modify the Confidential Brand Excellence Manual periodically. These changes can be communicated through various channels, including letters, electronic mail, bulletins, videotapes, audio tapes, software, or other forms of communication.

As an Engineering For Kids franchisee, it is your responsibility to stay updated with the most current version of the manual and to comply with any new or changed standards as soon as you receive notice from Engineering For Kids. If there is a disagreement regarding the contents of the manual, the version maintained by Engineering For Kids will be considered the controlling document.

This clause is typical in franchising, as franchisors need the flexibility to update their operating systems to respond to market changes, legal requirements, or other factors. It is crucial for franchisees to promptly implement changes to maintain brand consistency and operational standards. Franchisees should ensure they have reliable access to these communications from Engineering For Kids to remain compliant.
