What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Engel & Volkers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the payment of the initial franchise fee entitles a franchisee to have one person attend and complete LPT (likely an abbreviation for a specific training program) without charge. However, this applies only to the initial training.
For any additional persons requiring training, the franchisee must pay the fees that Engel & Volkers charges for training upon signing the Franchise Agreement. The franchisee is also responsible for covering all costs associated with transportation, lodging, meals, and other expenses for themselves and their attendees.
Attendance at these training courses is mandatory, ensuring that franchisees and their staff are properly trained in the Engel & Volkers system. Engel & Volkers may also offer additional, ongoing, and supplemental training sessions that may apply only to certain franchisees, sales advisors, or employees, and they reserve the right to charge a fee for attendance at such training.
