What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Engel & Volkers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if they permit you to open a Limited Purpose Location, you must pay a one-time fee of $2,500. This fee is in addition to the initial franchise fee.
This fee is not refundable and must be paid via cashier's check, certified bank check, or another method that Engel & Volkers requires, as outlined in the Franchise Agreement. It's important to note that this fee is separate from the initial franchise fee, which has a minimum of $35,000 and can increase based on factors such as the size of your protected area, the number of locations, market potential, population base, the character of residential properties, and total market turnover.
Prospective franchisees should consider this additional cost when evaluating the financial requirements of opening an Engel & Volkers franchise. Understanding all fees and their payment methods is crucial for budgeting and financial planning. Franchisees should also review Item 5 of the FDD for additional information regarding fees.
