What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Engel & Volkers's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Engel & Volkers retains the right to re-inspect the products and/or services of any approved supplier at any time. If a supplier fails to continue meeting Engel & Volkers's current criteria, Engel & Volkers can revoke the supplier's approval.

This provision allows Engel & Volkers to maintain quality control and brand consistency across its franchise network. It ensures that all suppliers, even those previously approved, continue to meet the required standards. For a prospective franchisee, this means that the suppliers they are permitted to use could change if those suppliers no longer meet Engel & Volkers' standards.

This clause protects Engel & Volkers' brand reputation and ensures consistent service and product quality. However, it could also mean that franchisees may need to switch suppliers, potentially disrupting their operations or requiring them to establish new relationships. Franchisees should stay informed of any changes to approved suppliers and understand the reasons behind such changes to mitigate any potential disruptions.
