What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Engel & Volkers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee must pay a one-time, non-refundable fee of $2,500 for the Administrative Location. This fee is to be paid to Engel & Volkers at the time of execution of the Administrative Location Addendum.
The acceptable methods of payment are wire transfer or any other means required by Engel & Volkers. This gives Engel & Volkers flexibility in how they receive payment, and the franchisee must be prepared to accommodate their preferred method.
It is important to note that this fee is non-refundable, meaning that once paid, it will not be returned to the franchisee under any circumstances. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as initial fees are used to cover the franchisor's costs of setting up the franchisee. Franchisees should ensure they are fully committed before executing the addendum and paying the fee.
