What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Engel & Volkers's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee requests approval to operate a Limited Purpose Location, Engel & Volkers has 30 days to respond. The franchisee must submit the request in writing and include sufficient information to support it, as specified in the System Documentation. Engel & Volkers has the discretion to either approve or deny the request.

Limited Purpose Locations are typically for overflow administrative staff or for sales advisors working on specific development projects. These locations are generally within the franchisee's Protected Area and are subject to the terms of the franchise agreement and standards in the System Documentation.

It is important to note that franchisees cannot operate a Limited Purpose Location without Engel & Volkers's approval and a signed Limited Purpose Sales Location Addendum or Limited Purpose Administrative Location Addendum. Franchisees are advised not to sign a lease or incur expenses before this addendum is executed. Furthermore, a Limited Purpose Location does not replace an Approved Location and does not grant the franchisee any additional rights to acquire further franchises or Limited Purpose Locations.
