We issue specifications and standards to you for applicable aspects of the franchise in our Manual and/or in written directives. We may issue new specifications and standards for any aspect of our brand system, or modify existing specifications and standards, at any time by revising our Manual and/or issuing new written directives (which may be communicated to you by any method we choose). We will generally (but are not obligated to) issue new or revised specifications only after thorough testing in our headquarters, in company-owned outlets, and/or a limited market test in multiple units.
No purchasing or distribution cooperative currently exists. We or our affiliates may negotiate prices for products or services for the benefit of the Endless Summer Sweets restaurant System, but not on behalf of individual franchisees. We will try to receive volume discounts for the Endless Summer Sweets restaurant System.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Endless Summer Sweets's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company can communicate new or modified specifications and standards to franchisees through revisions to the Manual and/or issuing new written directives. These directives may be communicated through any method Endless Summer Sweets chooses.
This means that as a franchisee, you should stay informed of updates to the Endless Summer Sweets system by regularly reviewing the manual and promptly reading any written directives you receive. The FDD states that Endless Summer Sweets may change software requirements by written notice or by updating the Manual.
Endless Summer Sweets does not obligate itself to issue new or revised specifications only after testing at headquarters, in company-owned outlets, and/or a limited market test in multiple units. Franchisees should be aware that changes to standards could occur at any time and be prepared to adapt their business accordingly. Franchisees are also required to purchase point-of-sale software and hardware that Endless Summer Sweets specifies, and these requirements may change periodically.
