What is included in Endless Summer Sweets' on-site opening support?

According to Endless Summer Sweets' 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor will provide on-site support for up to one week around the time of the opening of the franchisee's business. This support includes assistance in training employees.

Prior to opening, Endless Summer Sweets will advise franchisees regarding potential locations they submit. They will also provide a set of designs, general floor plans, and specifications, or standard recommended floor plans, along with specifications for required décor. Additionally, Endless Summer Sweets will provide suggested staffing levels, operational instructions in the manual for training new employees, and the initial training program. Franchisees will also receive a list of specifications and approved suppliers for necessary equipment, signs, fixtures, opening inventory, and supplies, as well as access to the Operations Manual. Endless Summer Sweets will also advise on the planning and execution of the market introduction plan.

However, Endless Summer Sweets is not obligated to assist franchisees in conforming the premises to local ordinances and building codes or obtaining required permits, as this remains the franchisee's responsibility. They also do not provide necessary equipment, signs, fixtures, opening inventory, and supplies directly, nor do they deliver or install these items, only providing the names of approved suppliers.
