You must successfully complete training before opening for business.
Training will be held at our original location in Berkely, California for approximately two weeks or at a location designated by us beginning approximately twelve weeks before you are scheduled to open for business. The franchise owner and restaurant manager must attend training. You may also send an employee so that up to three people may attend initial training. You must complete training at least six weeks before opening. Instructional materials will include our Operations Manual and other training materials we develop.
Training classes will be led by our owners Antoinette Sanchez and Carlos Herrera, each of whom has over ten years of experience in the business.
There is no fee for up to two people to attend training. You must pay your travel and living expenses and the travel and living expenses of your employees or managers to attend training. We may require annual refresher training at out our headquarters. There is no fee for the refresher training, but you are responsible for your travel and living expenses to attend.
We will also provide a representative for approximately one week to assist and train you at your location before or around the time you open, including through your "soft" opening. There is no fee for that training. You must pay the travel, per diem and lodging expenses for our representative to visit your location.

According to Endless Summer Sweets's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must successfully complete the initial training program before opening their business.
