What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Endless Summer Sweets's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the expenses related to complying with the Manual and System Standards. Specifically, the franchisee must sell gift cards, participate in loyalty programs, and maintain the business in good condition at their own expense.

This means that franchisees must allocate funds for these operational requirements. The franchisee is responsible for keeping the business in a neat and clean condition, performing all appropriate maintenance, and keeping all physical property in good repair. This includes periodic interior and exterior painting; resurfacing of the parking lot; roof repairs; and replacement of obsolete or worn-out signage, floor coverings, furnishings, equipment and décor.

These obligations ensure that each Endless Summer Sweets location maintains a consistent brand image and operational standard, but the financial burden rests on the franchisee. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these ongoing costs when evaluating the financial feasibility of the franchise.
