What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Embassy Suites By Hilton Franchise Disclosure Document, ADA training may be required if you engage in a Permitted Transfer, Conversion, Relicensing, or Change of Ownership Transfer for the Hotel. In these instances, Embassy Suites By Hilton may require you or your designated personnel to attend an online training. This training is designed to facilitate an independent survey conducted by an ADA consultant to assess the Hotel's compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Currently, there is no separate fee for this training.

Embassy Suites By Hilton also requires that your Hotel meet annual compliance training requirements. These topics may include disability awareness, and Embassy Suites By Hilton offers training at no cost for disability awareness. Alternatively, you can obtain this training from a vendor of your choice, with the cost agreed upon between you and the vendor.

In the pre-opening phase, Embassy Suites By Hilton will review the plans, layouts, specifications, drawings, and designs for constructing and furnishing your Hotel, including guest suite areas. Approval may be conditional, requiring your architect or another certified professional to certify that the Plans comply with all laws related to accessibility, accommodations, and facilities for those with disabilities. This proactive approach ensures that the hotel design meets accessibility standards from the outset.
