What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Embassy Suites By Hilton's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Owner Orientation program is held virtually. This training is a required program for all new franchisees or management company representatives who are new to the Hilton Worldwide Brands, and it must be completed 12-18 months before the hotel opens. If there is a Change of Ownership and the transferee is a first-time Brand franchisee, they must attend this program within 180 days of the date of the transfer.
The Owner Orientation program consists of 16 hours of classroom training. There is currently no separate fee for this program. This training is important for franchisees to understand the brand standards and operational procedures of Embassy Suites By Hilton.
In addition to the Owner Orientation, Embassy Suites By Hilton also offers a 'New to Hospitality Owner Education' program, which is a virtual learning program for franchisees without prior hospitality experience. While it is encouraged to complete this before the Owner Orientation, it must be taken before opening or within 90 days after a Change of Ownership. This program costs up to $2,500 per participant and is provided by a vendor selected by Embassy Suites By Hilton.
