What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Embassy Suites By Hilton Franchise Disclosure Document, the fee associated with the franchise application is referred to as the "Franchise Application Fee." This fee is required to be submitted with the application if the mandatory waiting period has expired, or promptly after the expiration of this waiting period.
If the application for an Embassy Suites By Hilton franchise is not approved, or if the applicant withdraws their application before approval, the Franchise Application Fee will be refunded, though a deduction of $7,500 will be applied to cover the franchisor's incurred time and expenses for processing the application. However, if the application is approved, the Franchise Application Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, even if the approval is conditional upon the applicant providing additional information.
Embassy Suites By Hilton retains the right to approve or disapprove any application for any reason. If the application is approved, the applicant must provide any additional requested information, fulfill any additional requirements, and sign the Franchise Agreement and all other ancillary documents within the time periods specified by Embassy Suites By Hilton. Failure to comply may result in the termination of the proposed hotel project and forfeiture of the Franchise Application Fee. The Franchise Application Fee may be invested, combined with other funds, or otherwise used as Hilton Worldwide deems appropriate.
