Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If you wish to manage your Hotel directly, you must have our prior written approval and successfully complete our training program, unless we waive this requirement. If we determine that you are not qualified to operate the Hotel, at any time, we may require you to retain a Management Company that is acceptable to us to manage the Hotel.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Embassy Suites By Hilton's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee who wishes to manage their hotel directly must first obtain prior written approval from Embassy Suites By Hilton. Additionally, the franchisee must successfully complete the Embassy Suites By Hilton training program, unless this requirement is waived by Embassy Suites By Hilton.

Embassy Suites By Hilton retains the right to mandate that a franchisee hire an approved third-party management company if it determines that the franchisee is not qualified to operate the hotel at any time. This provision underscores the importance Embassy Suites By Hilton places on maintaining brand standards and operational efficiency.

This requirement ensures that all Embassy Suites By Hilton hotels are managed by competent individuals or companies, which helps maintain the quality and consistency of the brand. For a prospective franchisee, this means they must either demonstrate their management capabilities to Embassy Suites By Hilton's satisfaction or be prepared to hire an approved management company to oversee the hotel's operations.
