What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Embassy Suites By Hilton Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to submit advertising and promotional materials for approval. Specifically, franchisees must submit samples of all advertising and promotional materials that have not been previously approved to Embassy Suites By Hilton for their approval before they are produced or distributed. This includes materials in digital, electronic, or computerized form, as well as any form of media that currently exists or may be developed in the future.
Embassy Suites By Hilton requires that franchisees not use any advertising or promotional materials until they have received approval. Furthermore, even if materials were previously approved, Embassy Suites By Hilton has the right to demand that franchisees immediately stop using any advertising or promotional material that they disapprove of.
This requirement ensures that all advertising and promotional efforts align with the brand's standards and image. It also allows Embassy Suites By Hilton to maintain consistency across all franchise locations and protect the brand's reputation. For a prospective franchisee, this means allocating time and resources to create advertising materials and submit them for approval, understanding that changes may be required to meet the franchisor's standards.
