What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Embassy Suites By Hilton Franchise Disclosure Document, the cost of training is invoiced to the customer at different times depending on the type of training. For the initial training, Embassy Suites By Hilton will invoice the customer at the same time as it renders its invoice for the license fees. However, if additional training is required for replacement general managers or other hotel personnel, the invoice will be sent to the customer prior to the training date.
In addition to the training costs, the customer is responsible for charges incurred for the use of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access the training hotel. These costs include fees from HSS's current VPN access provider for up to 5,000 minutes of network access, as well as HSS internal costs for configuration services. VPN access will be terminated for each property at the time of hotel opening or live utilization of the Information System.
Prospective Embassy Suites By Hilton franchisees should be aware of these different invoicing schedules for training costs and factor them into their budget. It is also important to note that the customer is responsible for VPN access fees during the training period. Franchisees should clarify with Embassy Suites By Hilton the specific training requirements and associated costs for their hotel to ensure accurate financial planning.
