What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Embassy Suites By Hilton Franchise Disclosure Document, the brand designates certain information technology (IT) products, services, and systems for use at the hotel. These IT systems are obtained through an Information Technology System Agreement between Hilton Systems Solutions, LLC (HSS) and the franchisee (referred to as "Customer").

The franchisee may order software, services, and authorized equipment by submitting an HSS-approved order document to HSS. Once accepted, this order document becomes part of the agreement. The term "Agreement Products and Services" includes software, authorized equipment, services, subscriptions, the Information System, documentation, and other materials made available to the franchisee under the agreement.

Authorized Equipment refers to equipment that meets HSS standards for operating within the Information System and is available for purchase or lease. Additionally, the system incorporates "Certified Third Party Software," which includes software licensed by third parties either directly to the franchisee or sublicensed by HSS. The franchise agreement specifies that franchisees must adhere to the standards set by Hilton for technology and systems to maintain uniformity across all Embassy Suites By Hilton locations.
