What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Embassy Suites By Hilton Franchise Disclosure Document, Embassy Suites By Hilton may charge franchisees for both required and optional training services and materials. The franchisee is responsible for selecting personnel to attend these training programs.

In addition to the fees for the training itself, the franchisee must cover all travel, lodging, and other expenses incurred by themselves or their employees (or their Management Company's personnel) when attending these training programs. This can add a significant cost to the overall training expenses.

Furthermore, the FDD mentions specific training-related fees within the context of Information Systems. These include costs for installation, implementation, and training services, which are billed by HSS or a Preferred Provider. Additional costs are incurred for training replacement General Managers or other hotel personnel, billed before the training dates at the current rate charged by HSS. Franchisees should clarify with Embassy Suites By Hilton what the current rates are for training and what is included in those costs.
