What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Embassy Suites By Hilton Franchise Disclosure Document, an applicant should not submit payment of the franchise application fee until at least the day after the 14th full calendar day following the date the applicant received the disclosure document in paper form or through the E-Disclosure procedure. This mandatory waiting period is designed to give prospective franchisees adequate time to review the FDD and make an informed decision.
Embassy Suites By Hilton requires that the applicant access the current Franchise Disclosure Document through the E-Disclosure procedure and complete it by clicking "Submit" on the Electronic Receipt page. If the applicant received a paper version of the Disclosure Document, they must sign and date the "Receipt" page at the end of the document and return it immediately by mail to their development representative. This ensures that the applicant has officially acknowledged receipt of the FDD.
Following these instructions helps ensure compliance with franchise regulations and provides the applicant with sufficient time to consider the opportunity before committing financially. Failing to adhere to this waiting period could potentially lead to issues with the application process or raise concerns about the applicant's understanding of the franchise agreement.
