What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Embassy Suites Franchise Disclosure Document, there is currently no separate fee for pre-opening training resources. The FDD specifies that franchisees receive unlimited access to brand hospitality tools and resources, including introductory webinars and team member workshops, without incurring a separate charge. This pre-opening training is conducted on-site and the hours may vary.
Embassy Suites also offers other training programs that do not have separate fees. These include Hilton Honors Training, ADA Training, Hilton Property Management System (HPMS) Training, and OnQ Rate & Inventory and GRO Training. However, it is important to note that while some training programs do not have separate fees, franchisees are generally responsible for covering travel, lodging, and miscellaneous expenses for their attendees. Additionally, if Embassy Suites trainers travel to the hotel site, the franchisee may be required to pay for their travel, lodging, tax, and meals.
While pre-opening training resources are currently offered without a separate fee, the FDD also states that Embassy Suites may modify training programs and materials. It is important for prospective franchisees to confirm with Embassy Suites whether the fee structure for pre-opening training resources or other training programs may change in the future, as the franchisor retains the right to implement fees for training courses and materials.
