What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Embassy Suites' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the brand's advertising efforts are supported by several sources. These include the in-house marketing department, external advertising agencies, and other vendors. This indicates that Embassy Suites utilizes a multi-faceted approach to its advertising strategy, combining internal resources with external expertise.

As an Embassy Suites franchisee, you are also required to participate in local and regional advertising and promotion of your hotel. These local campaigns must adhere to the brand's standards and use approved materials. The FDD specifies that franchisees must submit any advertising or promotional materials not previously approved to Embassy Suites for their consent before use. This ensures that all advertising aligns with the brand's image and standards.

Embassy Suites retains the right to disapprove any advertising or promotional material, even if previously approved, if they believe it is not in the best interest of the hotel or the system. Additionally, any advertising or marketing concepts developed by a franchisee and approved by Embassy Suites may be used by other hotels in the system without compensation to the originating franchisee. This clause highlights the importance of adhering to brand standards and the potential for franchisees to contribute to the overall marketing efforts of the Embassy Suites system.
