What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Embassy Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you wish to operate an E'Terie food and beverage establishment at your hotel, you must first apply for consent from Embassy Suites. The document states that Embassy Suites may withhold this consent for any reason, or for no reason at all. This indicates that approval is not guaranteed, even if you meet all other requirements.
Should Embassy Suites grant permission for you to operate an E'Terie, you will then be obligated to adhere to the standards and guidelines outlined in their manual for its operation. This includes offering the required menu items, following the specified layout, and maintaining the prescribed décor. This ensures brand consistency across all Embassy Suites hotels that feature an E'Terie.
The FDD also clarifies that neither Embassy Suites nor its affiliates receive any fees or other revenues from the optional E'Terie food and beverage establishment. The estimated cost of establishing the E'Terie Bar and Grill is included in Item 7 of the FDD. This is important for prospective franchisees to consider when evaluating the overall investment and potential profitability of operating an Embassy Suites hotel with this optional amenity.
