What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Embassy Suites Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must submit advertising and promotional materials to Embassy Suites for approval. Specifically, this applies to any materials that Embassy Suites has not previously approved. This includes materials in digital, electronic, or computerized form, as well as any form of media that exists now or is developed in the future.
Before producing or distributing these materials, an Embassy Suites franchisee must receive approval from the franchisor. Furthermore, Embassy Suites retains the right to disapprove any advertising or promotional material, even if it was previously approved, and the franchisee must immediately stop using the disapproved material.
This requirement ensures that all advertising and promotional efforts align with Embassy Suites's brand standards and identity. It also allows Embassy Suites to maintain a consistent and dignified image across all of its locations. The franchisee bears the cost and expense of advertising and promoting the Hotel and related facilities and services on a local and regional basis, while adhering to Embassy Suites's identity and graphics standards.
