What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Embassy Suites Franchise Disclosure Document, Embassy Suites does not offer training for all annual compliance topics. While Embassy Suites provides training for cyber security, disability awareness, human trafficking prevention, diversity and inclusion, and unconscious bias at no cost, it does not offer training for harassment prevention and health and safety.
For these compliance topics, Embassy Suites will provide vendor recommendations upon request, allowing franchisees to source training from external providers. The FDD estimates that vendor fees for these topics typically range from $25 to $50 per person, per topic.
This means that while Embassy Suites offers support in finding training, the franchisee is responsible for ensuring their staff receives adequate training in harassment prevention and health and safety through a third-party vendor. This ensures that the Embassy Suites hotel complies with all required regulations, even in areas where the franchisor does not directly provide the training.
